DAHLIA SOCIETY
A successful field day was hold on Saturday by the Auckland Chrysanthemum and Dahlia Society, the members making a tour of inspection of the railway flower gardens and of other similar attractions around the city. After their visit to the railway station the party was taken to the Domain hothouses and ferneries, afternoon tea being enjoyed at the Domain Kiosk. An inspection of the garden of Mr. P. .11. McMahou, of Mount Eden, was then made as a conclusion to the outing.
