LINESMAN'S FATAL FALL

ADJOURNMENT OF INQUEST An inquest was opened on Saturday by the coroner, Mr. E. Iv. Hunt, concerning the death of Mr. James MacDonald, aged 29, married, a linesman employed by tho Auckland ElectricPower Board, who died in the Auckland Hospital on Friday, following a fall from a. polo in St. Leonard's ltoad, Mount Eden, earlier in the day. Mr. MacDonald suffered a fracture of tho skull, and died about four hours later. Evidence of identification was given by William Mac-Donald, a brother of deceased. He said deceased had been employed by the Power Board for only two or three months. The inquiry was adjourned.
