DAVIS CUP MATCHES
| ENTERTAINMENT TAX CLAIM PARIS, March 5 "The Davis Cup is not entertainment, but an event of national interest," is the judgment of a French Court, which lias decided against the Revenue Department in its claim for £IO,OOO arrears of entertainment tax on the French matches of 1932, 1933 and when £IOO,OOO was taken. The Tennis Federation contended that the matches were only sporting demonstrations.
