IMPERIAL CONFERENCE

MAIN TOPICS ON AGENDA LONDON, Mafth 4 The Imperial Conference probably will be opened on May 14, a few days earlier than was originally intended. The agenda is practically settled. It will enable the Prime Ministers to deal with the major questions dominating the conference, namely, the international situation and Imperial < defence, and will leave lesser subjects to subcommittees. Accordingly the visiting Prime Ministers may be able to depart before the conclusion of the conference, leaving their colleagues to carry on.
