ILL-FATED STINSON AIR LINER WHICH MET WITH DISASTER WHILE EN ROUTE FROM BRISBANE TO SYDNEY The air liner at the Archerfield Aerodrome, from which it took off on its last flight. The machine crashed in heavily timbered country on the Macpherson Range, And its charred wreckage was not discovered until nine days afterwards. Of the seven occupants, only two wore found alive.
