SHIPPING DISPUTE
PORT OF SAN FRANCISCO SITUATION IMPROVED (Received March 5, 9.30 p.m.) SAN FRANCISCO, March 4 The shipping trouble has been eased by the withdrawal of the sailor piolrets and the announcement that the longshoremen will work the coastal steamer Rochelie to-morrow. This makes it unlikcb that the owners will carry out their threat to suspend relations with the longshoremen.
