TREATY NEGOTIATIONS
AUSTRALIA AND JAPAN (Received March 5, 5.6 p.m.) TOIvIO. March -1 The Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, JMr. Horinouchi, announces that Negotiations will be opened shortly in connection with a commercial navigation treaty between Australia and Japan. He added that Japan would make ai; effort to conclude the barter * agreements in view of the prevailing tendency in international trade relations.
