LIQUOR FOR NATIVES
* 1 OFFENCES BY YOUNG* MAN [BV TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] TAUPO, Friday In the Police Court at Taupo before Mr. J. Miller, S,M., to-day, a young man, Eddie Beck, of Tokaanu, pleaded guilty to four charges of supplying liquor to natives for consumption off licensed premises. He was ordered to pay fines and costs totalling £ll. Accused was also charged with taking liquor into the Waihi Pa, which is under the control of the Tongariro Maori Council. Accused pleaded .guilty and was fined £2 and 15s costs.
