i AWARDS FOR LAST YEAR I (Received March 5, 0.30 p.m.) HOLLYWOOD, March 4 The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has made tlie following awards for 1936: Best performances.—Actress: Luise Rainer in "The Great Ziegfeld." Actor: Paul Muni in "The Story of Louis Pasteur." Best supporting performers.—Actress: Gail Sondergaard in "Anthony Adverse." Actor: Walter Brennan in "Come and Get It." Best production: "The Great Ziegfeld." Best direction: Frank Capra, "Mr. Deeds Goes to Town."
