STOCK SALES

WESTFIELI) QUOTATIONS VALUES VERY FIRM £ll 5/- PAID FOR HEIFERS The seasonal demand for coWs and heifers to augment dairy herds associated with town supply was evidenced in the keen competition for quality stock and the firm values at the Westfield weekly stock sale yesterday. The yarding of stores was slightly below recent average, but prices generally were well maintained. Boner cattle were not so numerous and the top price was £7 os for boner bulls.
