SUPPLIES FOR NORFOLK
SHIP. IN ROUGH WEATHER [from our owx correspondent] NORFOLK ISLAND, Feb. 8 On her last voyage from Sydney the Morinda was delayed for 24 hours by bad weather and arrived off Norfolk Island in a strong wind and heavy seas. The conditions made Kingston and the Cascade landing almost unworkable and the 20 passengers and 75 bags of mail were put ashore with the utmost diffi* culty. , , , The wind and sea then increased and the vessel had to take shelter behind the island, where she remained until the third day. Her 75 tons of cargo were then discharged.
