DEVONPORT BOROUGH

STAFF REORGANISATION Complete reorganisation of the outside staff, necessitating the termination of the appointments of many borough employees, was decided upon at a special meeting of the Devonport Borough Council held on Wednesday night. The decision was unanimous. Applications are to be invited for tho vacant positions, which will occur after March 31, when the current appointments aro to terminate. The council decided to support the candidature of Messrs. H. W. Meikle and I. J. Goldstine as suburban local body representatives on the Auckland Metropolitan Milk Council.
