CHESS CHAMPION
VISIT TO DOMINION The secretary of the New Zealand Chess Association, Mr. J. C. McCrea, has received advice from Australia that Mr. Lajos Steiner, the Hungarian champion, will commence his New Zealand tour about the middle of March. Mr. Steiner is willing to spend more than a month in the Dominion if by so doing he can help the cause of c h e '® ia some of the smaller centres. At present he is only hooked for Dunedin, Christchurcli, Wellington, Hamilton, Auckland and probably Hotorua.
