GREEN-KEEPERS CONFER

OFFICERS OF ASSOCIATION [by telegraph OWN correspondent] PALMERSTON NORTH, Tuesday Green-keepers from all parts of the Dominion are in conference at Palmerston North in connection with the greens research work being carried out in this centre. A lengthy programme of lectures and inspeetional visits has been arranged. At the annual meeting of the association officers wero elected as follows: President, Mr. A. Seifert (Palmerston North); vice-presidents, Messrs. W. M. Horton (Palmerston North), F. W. Hobbs (Christchurch), H. Godbv (Christchurch) G. H. Holford (Auckland), G. O. Sutton (Wellington), A. D. S. Duncan (Masterton), H, B. Lusk (Auckland), B. E. Keiller (Palmerston North), H. W. Cooke (Auckland), H. Thropp (Christchurch), F. C. Frver (Hastings), S. Eaton (Dannevirke),'H. K. Adamson (Wellington), W. A. Kielv (Wellington), and Dr. Appleby (Whakatane).

Mr. T. Easterbrook (Christchurch), was appointed chairman of the executive, which consists of Messrs. T. M. Millitran (Heretaunga), J. Galloway (Titirangi), J. Harvey (Invereargill). and G. Hyde (Rotorua), Mr. A. C Biel (Lower Hutt), was elected secretary.
