RECENT STORMY WEATHER NO SERIOUS DAMAGE CAUSED [by telegraph—own correspondent] , OPOTIKI, Saturday Although heavy winds and rain have been experienced at Opotiki for the past three days the damage to maize crops has not been serious, as most of the crops are not very high and will straighten up again. The fruit trees have been buffeted and the loss of apples is fairly heavy.
