REQUEST TO MR. BALDWIN TRIBUNAL OF INVESTIGATION (Received January 17, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 1G The British Labour leader, Mr. Ernest Bevin, has written to the Prime Minister, Mr. Baldwin, in connection with the dismissal of J. H. Lovejoy, one of the workers who have been dismissed at the Devon port naval dockyard. He points out that no charge was made against Lovejoy and no indication was given why lie was dismissed.

Mr. Bevin asked the Prime Minister to create an impartial tribunal to investigate the facts.
