GRAVE FEARS FOR SAFETY RENEWED THREAT OF WAR NANKING, Jan. 13 Grave fears are felt for the safety of Jritish and American missionaries at Sian, owing to a renewed threat of civil war. They arc held at Sian by mutinous troops formerly commanded by General Chang Hsueh-liarig, and Communists are marching on the city.
