CURIOUS INCIDENT
' ETON COLLEGE BOYS VISIT TO ANTIQUE SHOP [FROM G'Tlt OWN CORKKSPONDKNT] LONDON. Dec. 10 When Eton College broke up for the Christmas holidays it was revealed that some days ago an extraordinary incident occurred at an antique shop in the town, kept by a middle-aged woman named Mrs. Harcourt Freeman. Some 18 months ago she opened premises in tho High Street, which she called the Sea Shell Inn, and among her customers were many Etonians who bought trinkets and other curios. The incident occurred when two boys /from the same house'failed to answer their names at absence after luncheon. The housemaster concerned eventually received :i telephone call from tho parents of one oi the boys, who said they had themselves received a telogram from Eton purporting to come from their son saying: "Come at onco to. the Sea Shell Jnn. 1 have found Christ." In consequence of this telephone message the college authorities communicated with the police, and the shop was visited and the two boys discovered. They were immediately taken back to the college and seen by doc-tors. They were none the worse for their adventure and were able to resume their normal life in the college tho following day.
