GERMAN COLONIES

PROPOSAL TO RETURN AUSTRALIA AND NEW GUINEA (Received January (!, 7.2/5 p.m.) CANBERRA, .Tan. t> The Minister of External Affairs, Sir George Pearco, replying to Viscount Klibank's comment on the return of the German colonies, said it would not be correct to say that Australia would not feel very strongly about the return of German New Guinea.
