HOLIDAY MOVEMENTS Mrs. Millward Anderson, of Karori, ( Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. C.' Hitchcock, of Pukuatua Street. Miss Jean Meredith, of Auckland was the guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Meredith, of Hincmoa Street. Mrs. M. D. Carr, of Omania, and family, have returned from a fortnight at the Mount. Mrs. R. Copeland Smith, of Te Ngae, is visiting Mount Maunganui. Mrs. B. Stewart and family, of Sophia Street, are spending the holidays at Maketu. Miss Jean Batten is spending a holiday at Maketu. Mrs. E. Hoe, of Aniohia Street, is spending a month at the Mount. Mrs. Evans and Miss L. Evans, of Gisborne, are staying at Rotorua. Mrs. W. Monk and family, of Ranolf Avenue, are spending the holidays at the Mount. Miss Clivena Young, of Hincmoa Street, is spending a week at Mount Maunganui. Miss 1). Corlett, of Grande Vue, has returned from spending Christmas with her sister, Mrs. I l '. de Hyde, of Ngaruawahia. Mrs. Bussell Gardner and family, of Scddon Street, are at the Mount. M iss I. Anderson, of Mount Eden, has taken a flat at Mavfair. Miss May Marlowe and Miss Roma Woolliams, of Botorua, have taken a flat at Courtville, Auckland, for a fortnight. Mrs. S. H. Hay and family of Fenton Street, are at the Mount. Mrs. D. .lervis and family, of Ranolf Avenue, are spending the holidays at Ohope Reach. Mrs. \Y. Campbell, of Hinemoa Street, is spending several weeks at the Mount. Mrs. J. McDowell, of Lytton Street, is at the Mount. Miss Vivienne Beale, of Mount Eden, Auckland, was the guest of Mrs. F. C. Bunyard, of Amohia Street, last week. Mrs. Sybil McDonald, of Botorua, has taken a bach at Mount Maunganui for the school holidays. Mrs. J. S. Mathias and family, of Pukuatua Street, are visiting Takapuna. Mrs. W. Giesen, Miss Mavis Gicsen and Mrs. J. Speer, of Rotorua, are at Mount Maunganui for several weeks. Miss J. Pearce, of Fenton Street, has returned from the Mount, where she was the guest of Mrs. J. D. C. Duncan.
Miss Ruby Manson, of Malfroy Boad, will leave for Auckland to-dav.
