SCENE AT MURDER TRIAL TRAGEDY IN KENTUCKY NEW YORK, Dec. 30 A bereaved mother was responsible for a dramatic tragedy in a crowded courtroom at Jackson, Kentucky, yesterday. Mrs. Viola Wickline, aged 35, shot and fatally wounded John Shepard, aged 18, who was being tried for the murder of her 17-year-old son. Several shots went astray, wounding three persons, including one of the solicitors.
