Sir, —The dread paralysis has at last reached our city and the health authorities are to be congratulated oil their preparedness. There is one question which 1, in common with many other mothers in Auckland, would like to ask. What are the health authorities doing in the case of Auckland people who insist on going to Dunedin for a two or three weeks' holiday with the intention of returningWo are told that adults may be carriers. [The medical officer of health in Auckland, T)r. T. J. Hughes, stated that the Health Department had not interfered with the'movements of those people as yet. Thov had been advised against going to Dunedin, and some had taken that advice. At the present time it was not intended to interfere with the travelling of the public.]
