SEALED ORDERS
A FRENCH SCHOONEKj MUCH INTEREST IN SUVA TRANSPACIFIC AIR ROUTE - [FROM OCR OWN correspondent] SUVA, Dec. 23 Interest was occasioned in th 4 arrival at Suva on December 1!) of the three-masted auxiliary schooner Oisean tics Isles, belonging to the French Oceanic Phosphates Commission. The vessel arrived from Papeete, but he» destination was unknown, the captain being in possession of sealed orders to be opened only after clearing Suvj Harbour. Some idea of the vessel's general denfiliation was obtained when she took on board several representatives of Pan-American Airways who had arrired by the Niagara a few days previously presumably in connection with exploration and planning work in connection with the proposed transpacific route of Pan-American Airways. It is presumed that their destination will be somewhere in the vicinity of the Jarvig Howland and Baker Islands, which were recently claimed by America and which have since been the subject of discus, sion between that country and Great Britain.
