NEVIS SLUICING CLAIMS The secretary of Nevis Siuicing Claims, Limited (Otago), reports that prior to the holidays the smallest of the throe tail races was washed up, and yielded 230z, 13dw1:. l"gr, No. 3 raco will be washed up this week, and the return from No. 1 (the main tail rare) should bo available in about a month's time. CANADA'S GOLD OUTPUT Gold production in Canada has advanced steadily since Fehruary, 19.56. Another new high monthly record established in September when 330,820 ounces were produced compared with the previous high mark of 328,697 ounces established in August, In September, 1935, the output amounted to 281,533 ounces. Production for theirs*! nine months of 1936 totalled 2.746,532 ounces, or 15.2 per cent above the out* put in the corresponding period 1935,
