GREEN LANE FATALITY

CORONER OPENS INQUEST An inquest was opened yesterday by the coroner, Mr. F. K. Hunt, into the death of a married man, Francis Martin Hansberv, retired, aged 70, of 23 Tawera Road. Green Lane, who died in the Auckland Hospital as the result of injuries suffered when he was knocked down by a motor-cycle on Saturday afternoon, at the corner of Great South Road and Green Lane Road. Evidence of identification was given, after which proceedings were adjourned sine die.
