RETURNS FOR HAMILTON GENERAL INCREASE SHOWN [l-HOM Ol'R OWN CORRKSPONPF,NT] HAMILTON", Monday There was a marked increase in the number of births, deaths and marriages registered in Hamilton in 1936, compared with the numbers for 1935. The statistics are as follows, those for the corresponding period for 1935 being given in parentheses .-—Births, 592 (52.'!); deaths, .'354 (288); marriages, 344 (291). The figures for December also showed an increase, the comparisons being as follows: Births, 58 (M 5); deaths, 38 (28); marriages, 37 (36).
