PROVINCIAL MATCHES CONCLUSION OF TOURNEY PLAY ON SOFT WICKETS SUBURBAN TEAM DEFEATED The provincial tournament under tho control of the Auckland Cricket Association was concluded on Saturday. South Auckland replied with 93 for seven wickets. In the other match Poverty Bay, 102, heat the Suburban Association team, 10G. The games were limited to one clay owing to rain on Friday causing a postponement. The final points scored in the tournament- were as follows:—Auckland B, 9; South Auckland, S; Poverty Bay, S; >"orth Auckland, 5j Suburban Association, 3. The best batting performance on Saturday was that of H. Cotterall, Auckland, who scored SI not out. The nest best scores were: P. H. Don-, Poverty Bay. 51; C. Kerr. Suburban, 47; R.
