Ince, chief insurance officer of the unemployment insurance .;| department of the British Ministry of Labour, is visiting Auckland. He is vip staying at the Grand Hotel. Mr. A. L. Armstrong, principal assistant to the Colonial Secretary of Fiji, will arrive at Auckland by the.'.MS Narkunda from Australia to-day. He j? is accompanied by Mrs. Armstrong. Major S. Bridge, who has been officer in charge of the Salvation Army at S Hamilton for three, years, has received notice of his transfer to Tnvercargill. He will bo succeeded by Adjutant | Liddle, of Australia. Professor H. P. Scddon. D.V.Sc., of Brisbane, will arrive at Wellington by the Awatoa from Sydney on Monday. -cfj Professor Seddon is a New Zcalander, whose mother resides at Lower Hutt. I He will attend the conference of the f Australian and New Zealand Association for the Advancement of Science, jig which is to be held at Auckland this* |gf month. Professor Seddon was recently £ J appointed principal of the new Bris- | bane Veterinary School. Before receiv- ! ing that appointment he was on the | staff of the Glenfield Research Station in New South Wales.
