RULES OF GOLF
RECOMMENDATION IN BRITAIN (Received January 1, 8 p.m.) LONDON, Jan. 1 The Rules of Golf Committee announces that it will, recommend, at a meeting of the Royal and Ancient Club (St. Andrews) next May, that the number of clubs to bo used in playing a game be limited to 14. Tho United States Golf Association has agreed to support the recommendation.
