EXPLOSION IN FORGE
MAN SEVERELY BURNED GLOWING EMBERS SCATTERED [by telegraph—own correspondent] PAP.AROA, Thursday The explosion of a length of metal piping he was heating in a forge resulted in Mr. Gordon Garmson being burned severely about the face and arms. Glowing embers were scattered, and Mr. Garmson, who received the full force of the explosion, was rendered unconscious. The injured man was removed to the Paparoa Hospital. He went home after being treated.
