Jean Harlow will appear as a manhating air-woman in licr next film, "Leisure." Claude Rains has definitely been cast as Robespierre in Max Reinhardt's "Danton." Josef von Sternberg lias been signed by Alexander Korda to direct Charles Laughton and Merle Oberon in "I, Claudius." Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer have bought Rafael Sabatini's "The Strolling Saint." They intend to star Robert Taylor in a film version. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer have bought the screen rights of "Idiot's Delight," a play .by Robert Sherwood in which Lvnne Fontanne and Alfred Lunt have been starring on Broadway. Clark Gablo will play in the film version. Ruby Keeler and Dick Powell are to be partnered again after a fairly long separation, in "All Came In." The picture, based on Louis Bromfield's novel, will be produced by Warners as soon as Powell has finished playing in "On the Avenue," for 20th. Century-Fox.
