THEFTS FROM HOUSES
RESIDENCES AT PIRONGIA, [from our own correspondent] TE AWAMUTU, Wednesday Two houses at Pirongia were entered by thieves at the week-end. A llia " 9 overcoat, a purse, and other artices were stolen from the residence of A rW. 11. Bell, and a purse containing money was taken from Mr. A* ' Mounsey's house while the family * absent. The latter purse was subsequently found empty outside ' 9 Pirongia Town Hall, while some of t contents of the purse stolen from * Bell's residence were picked up ,n paddock yesterday.
