DOG KILLS SHEEP

28 LOST FROM FLOCK FARM NEAR WELLINGTON [BT TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Wednesday A. dog of mixed breed has been responsible for the death of 28 sheep on the property of Mr. R. Best, a sheep farmer, of Ohariu, near Johnsonville. Mr. Best, who has suffered loss caused by stray dogs on several occasions, found a dog resting quietly near a dead sheep, and destroyed it.
