IDLE AND DISORDERLY REMANDED IN CUSTODY Pleading not guilty to a charge of being idle and disorderly, without sufficient lawful means of support, Edward Hetherington, labourer, aged 22, was remanded by Mr. Wyvern Wilson, S.M., in the Police Court yesterday, until next Wednesday. Sub-Inspector Fox said accused accosted a taxi-driver shortly after 3 a.m. yesterday, and asked to be taken to the Magistrate's Court. Instead he was driven to the police station. He had no money, and nowhere to go. Ho had spent two days and nights at the Salvation Army Home, and it was desirable that further inquiries should be made concerning his history.
