STEALING BENZINE
PARKED MOTOR VEHICLES OFFENDER EVADES CAPTURE [from ouk own correspondent] HAMILTON, Wednesday Thefts of benzine from parked motorcars and vans in the vicinity of Coli lingwood Street, Hamilton, have occurred during the past few nights. -The benzine was removed by siphoning. One of the heaviest loser 3 is Mr. F. Findlay, whose bakehouse is situated in Collingwood Street, and whose business necessitates the use of several vehicles. A watch has been kept by the police, fcnd Jast night, a man was nearly caught. He ; made a hurried departure J'Jst as a constable was approaching, an d left his siphoning apparatus and a can behind him.
