40-HOUR WORKING WEEK
PROSPECT IN AUSTRALIA VISITING BARRISTER'S VIEWS [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Monday The introduction of a 40-hour working week in Australia, so far unsuccessfully attempted, was only a question of time, said Mr. A_. J. do Baun, a Sydney barrister, who arrived by the Awatea to-day. Mr. de Baun, who is a specialist in industrial law, said events in New Zealand were beiing watched by industrialists in New South Wales with the greatest interest.
