OVERLOADED LAUNCH FIFTEEN' NEGROES DROWNED (Received December 27, 5.5 p.m.) MONTREAL, Dec. 2f> A message from Kingston, Jamaica, states that an overloaded launch carrying a happy Christmas crowd capsized in the harlDour less than half a mile from the shore and 15 people were drowned. Four children and 21 adults were rescued. Three aro in a critical condition. All aro negroes. Confusion hampered the rescue work of the crews of boats which wore rushed to the scene. One pitiful survivor was a nursemaid. Three of her * charges under the age of 10 years were .drowned.
