FILM ACTRESS AND MOTHER AMERICAN SAILOR ARRESTED HOLLYWOOD, Dec. 6 The well-known film actress Miss Ginger Rogers and her mother are being guarded by Federal agents following the receipt of two letters threatening their lives unless the sum of 5000 dollars is paid to the writer. A later message stated that James Hall, aged 20, a sailor on the naval aircraft carrier Lexington, was arrested in connection with the letter. Agents of tho Department of Justice trapped Hall in a cafe at Lt)s Angeles, where tho letter with tho money had been taken.
