FAIR AT HOWICK
A sale of work and fancy fair, promoted by the Howiek Presbyterians in aid of the church funds, was held in the Town Hall on Saturday, and was officially opened by Mr. C. fi. Petrie, M.P. The hostess was Mrs. F. A. Tylee. The members of the committee and stallholders were:—Mesdames Turnbull Jones, Amiss, Andrew, Black, Connelly, Hall, Wallen, ' Irvine, Wells, Missep White, La wry. During the evening a successful entertainment was provided by members of the Bible Class, several amusing sketches being cleverly staged.
