TAUPIRI GARDEN FETE
The picturesque grounds of "Totara Park," Orini, the residence of Mr. and Mrs. J. Stevenson, were the scene of a successful garden fete, organised by the Orini ladies' committee to raise funds toward the erection of a new public hall to replace the one destroyed bv fire in February. Xlr. R. Coulter, member of Parliament for the Waikato, was present and declared the function open. In the evening a dance was held in the Tenfoot Hall.
