Mrs. S. H. Jenkinson (Wellington) is at the Star Hotel. At the Royal are Mrs. E M. Pickard and Mrs. C. M. Pascoe (Sydney). Mrs W. Crawford, of Remuera, arrived home last week from a visit to Australia. Mrs. W. Carson, Benson Road, Remuera, has returned frpm a visi to Taumarunui. Mrs. J. Tatham, of Homewood, Whareania, is the guest of Mrs. J. b. Clo.sc at Takapuna. Miss E. Grant, Miss R. Grant, (New York) and Miss C. B. Lowe (South Africa) are at the Grand Hotel. Miss E. V. Harrington (India), Miss Stennet (Sydney) and Mrs. *. J. Hill (Melbourne) are at Hotel Cargen. The Lady Angela Dawn ay, who has been visiting the South Island, is expected to return to Auckland this evening. Mrs. A. W. Cheal. who has been spending a six months' holiday in Australia, returned to Auckland yesterday by the Aorangi. Mrs. D. H. Seeker, wife of Lieutenant - Commander Seeker, Owens Road, Epsom, will return this afternoon from a visit to the South Island. Mrs. G. H. Mends (Te Puke). Mrs W. Gieson (Rotorua), Miss E. O'Neill (Hamilton), Miss J. Price and Miss L. Price (Thames) are at the Central Hotel. Mrs. A. Storev and Miss K. Storey, of Waiuku, returned to Auckland yesterday by the Aorangi after an extended visit to New South " ales and Queensland.
Miss Jean Drummond. Gilgit Road. Epsom, who has been visiting the South Island during the southern cruise of H.M.S. Dunedin, will return to Auckland to-day. Mrs. J. G. Coates and Miss Sheila C'oates, of Kaipara. North Auckland, who have been visiting Airs. H. C. Aickin, of Mount Eden, will return north to-day. Mrs. F. Rolfe (Putaruru), Mrs. E. McCabe. Miss T. McCabe (Wellington), Miss G. Dunderdale (Te Teko), Miss M. Sharp (Western Australia), Miss E. Miller (England), Miss J. L. Feme (Glasgow) and Miss H. Higgins (Sydney) are at the Station Hotel.
The party of American schoolteachers, Miss A. Goldsucker. Miss F. Friedman, Miss E. Gross and Miss R. Gross, of New York, who have been on a brief educational tour of the North Island, have returned to Auckland and are staying at the Grand Hotel. They sail by the Aorangi to-day for the United States. Mrs. J. E. Sebag-Montefiore, who arrived at Wellington by the Akaroa after an absenco abroad of more than four years, has taken up her residence at "Tamaki House," Kohimarama. With Mrs. Sebag-Montefiore are her two children and she is accompanied by Mrs. Michael Stevenson, of London. They expect to stay in New Zealand for about three months, returning to England later.
