DUNLOP SHIELD GAMES MATCHES AT ROTORUA VICTORY FOR WHAKATANE [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] ROTORUA, Monday The first inter-club tennis matches of the season in the Dnnlop Shield competition were played on the courts in the Government Gardens at the week-end between Rotorua and Whakatane. The visitors won by 12 matches to four. Although it rained early in the morning, for tho greater part of the day bright sunshine was enjoyed.
