ADMISSION OF OFFENCE TWO ACCUSED FOR SENTENCE [from orit OWN correspondent] HAMILTON, Monday Picas of guilty wore entered by Leonard O'Brien, aged 26, and Reginald Bruce Dell, aged 22, in the Hamilton Police Court to-day, to charges of breaking and entering the house of Robert Bland, farmer, of Rukuhia, on December 3, and stealing goods to the value of £35 18s. Robert Bland said that during his absence his house was ransacked and the articles produced in Court were stolen. Considerable damage was done to the furniture and houso, while clothes had been ruined. Ho knew neither of the accused. Evidence that articles belonging to him had been stolen from Bland's house was given by Lawrence Dell, a brother of one of the accused. Witness said he was employed on Bland's farm, but he saw nothing of the accused at the house.
After evidence had been given by Detective A. J. White and Constable ]•/. D. Eraser, the accused were committed to the Supremo Court for sentence.
Charges of obtaining a taxi ride by fraud, preferred against accused, were dismissed.
