Evidence was given that at about 3.'io 011 Saturday afternoon accused left his seat on the boat and, approaching an Italian musician who was playing a violin on tho deck, used insulting language to him about his nationality. The magistrate, Mr. Wyvcrn Wilson, imposed a fine of £1 on each charge, in default seven days' imprisonment. Time to pay tho fino was not allowed.
