NEW SWIMMING POOL

OPENING EVENTS AT MILFORD The opening ceremony of the new Milforcl swimming pool will be held next Saturday, commencing at 2.30 p.m. The executive of the North Shore .Amateur Swimming and Life-Saving Club has arranged a short swimming programme. There will be events for tiny tots, junior boys and girls and intermediate boys and girls. Open events will bo a 66vds breaststroke, 50yds free-style and a 50yds ladies' free-style. A relay race between teams representing H.M.S. Philomel and New Zealand Division cruisers will also bo decided.
