FRENCH DECLARATION EVENT OF ATTACK MINISTER'S ANNOUNCEMENT l?y Telegraph—l'rcss Association —Copyright PARIS, Dec. 4 An unequivocal declaration that the entire military strength of France stands solidly behind Britain was made to-day by the Foreign Minister, M. Delbos, to a packed Chamber of Deputies. "I want to declare that all the forces of France, on land, sea and in the air, would spontaneously and immediately be utilised in defence of Britain against an unprovoked aggressor. "I will say the same regarding Belgium," continued M. Delbos, "although I do not forget their rather different conception of a future Locarno i reaty. As far as the new Locarno is concerned, Mr. Eden and 1 are asking only that Germany should come in this network of guarantees on an equal footing. "Meanwhile, the greatest token for our own security and for general security is the reality of an efficacious Franco-British friendship."
