Mrs. A. W. Joughin, Tamui Road, Devonport, has returned from a visit to Rotorua.
Mrs. Morton Paterson. of Wadestown, is the guest of Mrs. Kenneth Myers, East Tamaki.
Mrs. Victor Usher, of Jervois Road. Heme Bay, returned at the week-end from a visit to Wellington.
Mrs. E. Reid has returned to Opotiki after visiting her sister, Mrs. Anderson, Vale Road, St. Heliers Bay.
Miss Anita Webster, of Shelly Beach Road, Heme Bay, returned yesterday from a week's visit to Waiwera.
Mrs. Nat Ramsay, of Ranui Road, Remuera, returned on Saturday from a motor trip to Taupo and Rotorua.
Miss Rita Pickwick, of Opononi, arrived in Auckland by the Wanganella last week after a visit to England.
Mrs. C. B. V. AVheeler, Tirohanga Avenue, Reinuera, will leave to-morrow morning by motor-car for Wellington.
Mrs. Wellesley Hamlin has returned to her home in Waitara, Taranaki, after a motor tour of the Xorth Island.
Airs J H.'Frater and Miss Elizabeth Frater, Bassett Road, Remuera, will leave by motor-car to-morrow for Wellington. Mrs. N. Main, Tamaki Drive, St. Heliers Bay, will leave by the Aorangi on a visit to the United States and Canada. Mrs W. J. Hampton Reynolds, of Henley Road, Mount Eden, will leave this morning on a visit to 1 aihia, Bay of Islands. Lady Ward, of Christchurch, and Mrs. Vincent Ward, of Wellington, who have been paying a brief visit to Auckland, have returned south. Mrs. Graham Brown Douglas, who has been visiting her mother, Mrs. I'. Waller, of Remuera, will return to her home in Christchurch to-day. Mrs. George Lowe, of Helensville. accompanied by her younger daughter and Miss Betty McLeod, is visiting her mother, Mrs. J. Morgan, Rotorua. The Misses Heni and Alice Scott, of Christchurch, who have been spending several weeks in Auckland, will leave to-morrow on a motoring tour of the North. The Hon. Mrs. Ralph Vane, of England, who is spending a holiday in the Dominion, arrived at Waiwera on Saturday and left yesterday for Whangarei. Mrs. F. Allen, of Lochiel Road, Remuera, has returned from a visit to Hawke's Bay and Wairakci. Mrs. J. Chambers, of Hawke's Bay, is at present her guest.
Mrs. Alfred Kidd, of Gillies Avenue, Epsom, returned on Saturday from Wellington, where she attended a meeting of the executive of the New Zealand Free Kindergartens' Union.
Mrs. Henry Siedeberg, of Dunedin, arrived in Auckland on Saturday to visit her daughter, Mrs. Johu Buxton. Mount Street. Mrs. Buxton, who has been visiting Taupo, returned to Auckland on Saturday.
The final meeting for the year of the No. 2 Remuera branch of the League of Mothers was presided over by Mrs. W. R. Cashmore and took the form of a Christmas party. Items were rendered by Mrs. McGregor, Mrs. Rough, Mrs. Shaw, Miss Marra, Miss R. Haresnape and Mrs. Harold King. Mrs. McKinney was the accompanist. Prizes for a competition were won by Mrs. Appleby and Mrs. Brathwick.
