CONSOLIDATION FAVOURED CONFERENCE AT PAPAROA [ B r TELEGRAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] PAPAROA, Tuesday Some 20 members of district school committees, representing Paparoa, Wairere, Ararua, Matakohe and Hukatere, met in an informal conference to discuss tho question of school consolidation. The Rev. Gordon Parker presided. It was unanimously resolved: —• "That this meeting considers the consolidation of their schools desirable." The conference then set up a committee to investigate the practicability of the proposal and report to a similar meeting at an early date.
