MANY VISITING ANGLERS SPORT AT THE WEEK-END [by telegraph—OWN correspondent] TAUPO, Monday Perfect weather was experienced in Taupo at the week-end, and there was a largo number of visiting anglers on the lake and on the Waikato River. Excellent fishing was obtained by Mr. G. Bone and a party of three rods from Hastings, in bays in the vicinity of Mere Point. Each rod obtained the limit. Mr. E. G. Bridgens and party, of Auckland, visited the western bays and returned after the week-end with a good catch.
