The captain, stewardess and five seamen were drowned, 10 survivors reaching the shore on a raft paddled with their hands. They have been taken to hospital suffering from exhaustion and exposure. The Hibou was a motor-vessel of 55!) tons. Sho was built in 1906 and was owned by the Booth Fisheries Company Limited.
